ABOUT ME

Leaving my hometown in suburban Cleveland (OH) was always in the back of my mind. As a kid, I had a fascination with fine art but my interest in design sparked in High School. I liked the idea of art having a function and going further than aesthetics framed on a wall. Being an athlete I related to well designed footwear. Not only do my shoes make me jump higher but they look badass as well. While fabrication seemed fascinating, I was more interested in colors, shapes and patterns. I bought leather paint and began using white Nikes as my canvas. What started as a hobby quickly evolved and eventually influenced what I wanted to do beyond high school.

Majoring in graphic design at Marietta gave me what many schools seemed to be lacking at the time; real world experience. I had the opportunity to work with copywriters and other designers to achieve a common goal. I worked with clients that had and didn’t have product photography, ones that were hard to get a hold of, and deadlines that seemed impossible. Graphic design was exceedingly overwhelming at times, and I began to love it.
